Dear Families,
It's hard to believe we have only one week of school left this term. It will be great to catch up with all our parents at our parent-student-teacher interviews on Tuesday and Wednesday evening next week. Please make sure that you have booked in to see your child's teacher on either Tuesday 1st or Wednesday 2nd July through the online booking form sent home previously.
Please remember that school finishes for students at 1.00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday next week for the parent-student-teacher interviews and at 1.30 p.m. on Friday 4th July - the last day of Term 2.
Please join us for our final assembly for the term, on Friday 4th July at 1.00 p.m. as we celebrate NAIDOC week and watch some of our students present some short scenes they have been working on during their performing arts lessons.
This is our last newsletter for the term so have a safe and happy winter break. We look forward to a great term three, commencing on Monday 21st July at 8.50 a.m.
Please see the "Dates to Remember" page for all the important Term 3 dates.
There has been a fire at the warehouse of Beleza in Hallam where some of our school uniform is stored. Please read the communication from Beleza regarding the impact this will have at St Mark's, on the Uniform Shop page of the newsletter.
I need to remind all families that children should not be at school prior to 8.30 a.m. regardless of whether they are being dropped off by car or making their own way to school on their bike or on foot. There is no supervision at school until 8.30 a.m. and children should never be left unattended, especially on these very cold mornings. If children are making their own way to school (as some of our children who ride their bikes do), they need to time their ride so that they arrive at school after 8.30 a.m. Thanks for your co-operation for taking appropriate measures to ensure all children are safe. If you need to drop your child at school prior to 8.30 a.m. we have a before school care program run by Team Kids that is available for you to utilise. Please see the Team Kids page in this newsletter for details on how to book in to the program.
