Parents and Friends

Dear families,

Not long until the holidays!

We are excited to be able to hold a disco during school hours to celebrate the end of the school term.  Learning groups will each participate in a 30 minute disco in the School Hall.  We look forward to a lot of fun and some great dancing!

We have discussed with school leadership the idea of the P&F hosting a Lunchtime Club with different activities offered. This would be a great option for the students, particularly in the cooler terms. To run this, we need volunteers – see more details below.

Please contact us on parentsandfriends@sbshepparton.catholic.edu.au if you have any questions.

Lunchtime Club

We are calling out to members of the school community to help out with the new the Lunchtime Club, it would be parents, grandparents or other members of the school community.

Lunchtime Club would run at lunchtime from 11.10am to 11.45am, helpers would need to come a little earlier to setup and then pack up at the end.

We hope to be able to offer different activities both indoor and outdoor.

Examples of activities include: colouring/drawing, lego, board games, sports clinics and craft activities.  We are open to other ideas.

Volunteers will need to hold a current Working With Children’s Check and will be required to complete a volunteer induction with the school.

We hope to get this up and running in Term 3 – please contact us if you can help out.
