Casual Clothes Day & Pancake Breakfast Club

Our students will be having an end-of-term casual clothes day this Friday 4th July. Students in both Primary and Secondary are invited to wear casual clothes.  Please ensure that casual clothes are appropriate with fully enclosed shoes to provide protection.

Cost is a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to Loaves & Fishes Tasmania.

As an extra special treat, Breakfast Club will also be having a special pancake breakfast this Friday to celebrate the last day of term.

Secondary Expo Evening – Save the Date!

The Secondary Expo Evening will be a night dedicated to our students showcasing their work to their parents and peers, and an opportunity for our 2026 students to see what Secondary is all about, so save the date for Tuesday 5th August and watch this space for more details!

Parent Teacher Interviews

Parent Teacher interviews will be held in Term 3 on Wednesday 30th July for both Primary and Secondary students.  Bookings for Parent Teacher Interviews are now open and can be made through Parent Lounge. 

Primary interviews will be held in both the Jiloa Centre and Alpha HQ (STEM Centre), and Secondary interviews will be held in the Secondary classrooms.  Please note, for primary families wishing to see Robb Dennis, he will be meeting with parents in the Secondary classrooms.

All class and specialist teachers will be available for you to speak with.

If you would like to make an appointment to discuss any aspect of your child's learning, please click here to book your times through Parent Lounge. When booking, particularly for families wanting both Secondary and Primary appointments, please allow enough time between appointments to meet with staff in different buildings.

Mid-year reports will be emailed to parents prior to Parent Teacher Interviews at the beginning of Term Three.

Early Learning Programs - Winter Break

Thank you to all the DCS pre-school parents for an amazing Term 2, it was wonderful seeing so many new faces at Little Sprouts and Jiloa Juniors!

It is now time for our playgroup to have its winter break. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Thursday 31st July for Little Sprouts and Friday 1st August for Jiloa Juniors. Have a wonderful few weeks staying warm!
