From the Principal

Welcome to Term 3! It has been great to see our students return rested and ready to tackle the term ahead. With a variety of major events on the planner, it is set to be a busy, enjoyable and rewarding term ahead.

Year 12 Focus – Term 3

This term, our Year 12 students are front and centre as they work diligently to complete their Farm and Trades Certificates, tackle in-school assessments, and — for our ATAR students — prepare for their final exams in Term 4.

After more than 13 years of formal education, it’s natural for students to feel the pressure as they approach the finish line. For some, this is an exciting time filled with anticipation for life beyond school. For others, it can be a challenging and anxious period.

Our Wellbeing team is actively supporting students with guidance and wraparound care where needed. I encourage parents and caregivers to check in with their child regularly and reach out to us if you have any concerns about their wellbeing. Together, we can help ensure every student feels supported and confident as they take this important next step.

Year 11 Student and Parent Information Evening

Thank you to all parents and caregivers who joined Monday’s online session. We hope the presentations helped clarify the Subject Selection, Certificate III, Scholarships, and Student Leadership opportunities.

P&C Update

Thank you to our outgoing P&C, especially Executive members Bronwyn de Fin, Tish Clarke, Karen Isbister, and Laura Cruz, for their dedication to the College.

We’re still seeking a few Year 11 parents to join the incoming committee—please get in touch if you’re interested.

Looking ahead, we’re excited for the parent evening on the night of the School Ball. Parents are encouraged to purchase their tickets alongside their child’s to help us confirm numbers. The venues are conveniently located next door to each other with ample parking.
