Do all that you do with love ~

Dear Families,

Welcome back! I hope you all had some rest and relaxation time over the school break. The weather was quite kind to us, especially over the long weekend, and provided some perfect opportunities to be outside enjoying the sunshine together. Many of the staff were able to get away and recharge their batteries, including myself, ready for the term ahead.

Next week we wil be celebrating the Official Blessing and Opening Ceremony of the Administration Hub and Junior and Middle Learning Neighbourhoods. Father Joseph Abutu, Parish Priest of St Agatha’s Parish will lead the Blessing ceremony and will be joined by Mr Gary Maas MP – State Member for Narre Warren South, Mr Paul Velten -Director of Catholic Education for the Diocese of Sale, Mr Keith St Mart - Chair of the School Advisory Committee, along with guests, and friends of the school and parish community. I would like to invite you to join us for this special event as well.

Photography Permission

As part of our Blessing and Opening, we have been asked to gather permission for students to have their photograph taken. Every student will be bringing home a permission slip - please complete this and return it to the school by Monday 9th October.

2024 Enrolments

We are in the process of finalising enrolments for Foundation 2024. If you have a child who will be school age next year and have yet to submit an enrolment form, please contact the school as soon as possible. Our Foundation Information Evening is on Monday, 23rd October and our transition sessions commence on Thursday, 26th October - we don't want any of our families to miss out on these important dates.

This is also the time of year when we are starting to confirm staff and class structures for the following year. If, for whatever reason, your child is leaving us at the end of the year and does not require a place at the school, could you please let us know. This does not apply to Grade 6 students graduating and heading to high school.

Congratulations

I'd like to acknowledge the amazing achievement of one of our Senior students, Louis St Mart. Louis was selected to play for the Victorian Boys Under 12s Netball Team and represented Victoria over in Perth before the school holidays. He was also named Co-Vice Captain of the team. The boys managed to return to Victoria with the silver medal and we are so proud of Louis and his achievement.

School Fees

This is just a reminder that if you are not paying school fees via Centrepay or Direct Debit, the fees are due to be finalised by 30th November 2023.  School fee statements are sent home via email at the start of each term, please contact the office if you require another copy to be sent home.

If you are having difficulty paying fees, families can apply for a Special Consideration Fee Concession. Forms need to be sent home and completed, however concessions can be granted and we have helped many families over the years. Remember also that if you hold a Government Health Care Card or Government Pension Card, school fees can also be reduced. Please contact the office if you have any questions.

Have a wonderful week!
