Prep Legoland Excursion - Wed 11th October

On Wednesday 11th October the Prep students will be visiting LEGOLAND as part of our Term 4 Design and Technology unit. Students will attend LEGOLAND where they will have the opportunity to build a moving vehicle out of lego and test it as well as exploring the rest LEGOLAND has to offer. This will be followed by a stop at Frankston Foreshore Playground before returning to school.

Could students please:

* Bring a rubbish free snack and lunch with a plastic water bottle in a small backpack. Students will be carrying their own backpack. Any rubbish brought along will be sent home with your child.

* Wear their school uniform including a school jumper or jacket.

* Dress appropriately for the weather on the day e.g bring a raincoat if raining.

* Hand in any medication needed on the day at the office by 8.30am.

Normal school bags and home reader bags do not need to be sent to school on this day.

Bike ED Program during PE (Year 3-6) - 23rd Oct - 24th November

This term in PE grade 3-6 will be doing Bike Education. The Bike Ed program is a program that gives children the opportunity to learn about safe riding behaviours, road rules and riding in a shared environment. Bike Ed uses practical lessons to ensure riders have the physical abilities to ride safely and older students to ride independently.

Students will need to bring their bike to school for PE during weeks 4-8 (23/10 – 24/11). They will be stored in the hall while at school and then will need to bring them home at the end of the school day.

We will be sending more information out directly to parents regarding the upcoming Bike Education program including a check list of safety essentials.
