Grade 2 

This week the Grade 2’s have been exploring division and practised dividing numbers using counters. We also used smarties to see all the different ways we could divide them and then record the equations to match!

Prep

Numeracy Lesson on mass: 

Students made a gingerbread man or blob from playdough and found things from around the room that weighed more, less and the same as their gingerbread man. 

Divisional Athletics

Congratulations to the following students who attended Divisional Athletics this week at Mornington Civic Reserve. 

• Titus who placed first in 100m sprint and high jump. 
• Steel who placed second in shotput. 

Well done to those two boys and good luck at regionals!
