Overdue library books (students)

  • Please return WHC library books by Week 8 (November 20).

Geelong Library Resource at our doorstep

  • All students can EASILY join the Geelong Library and EASILY reserve books online and EASILY pick them up from the library here!
  • A Geelong Library card means you can use all the libraries in Geelong and 
    • Access 24 hour WiFi
    • Book a room to study in
    • Some have 3D printers, photocopiers, computers
    • When you use the self-checkout function, you can use 'pirate' language instead of English
    • There is a coffee shop in the Dome Library in town
    • You can borrow up to 40 items like magazines, ebooks, audio books, CDs (compact discs)
    • You can reserve up to 30 items from the library app on your phone
    • Our ‘Vines’ school branch will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays over the Christmas holidays.
  • You will save MONEY as novels are about $30 or more each to buy 😊

Canteen orders

A reminder that the Canteen will be ORDER ONLY for all main food items, such as salad rolls, sausage rolls, schnitzel burgers etc. The first 10 minutes of recess and lunch will be allocated to collection of food orders only. The canteen will then be open for any additional purchases of drinks, snack items, yogurts, sugar-free icy poles, sorbet etc.

PLEASE NOTE - DUE TO THE INCREASING NUMBER OF STUDENTS ORDERING WE HAVE HAD TO ALTER THE CUT OFF TIME TO 8.15AM.   THIS WILL ALLOW US MORE TIME TO PROCESS THE ORDERS.

 

Lids4Kids - Canteen Collection

Our Canteen is collecting lids and bread tags for the program Lids4Kids. The program aims to create a more sustainable and environmentally conscious school through recycling. You can read more about the non-for-profit project on their website. If you have any lids or bread tags similar to the ones pictured please hand them in to our friendly canteen staff.
