10STC Robotics Excursion

Mr Tiernan’s System Tech class have been learning about robotics and how they are beginning to replace humans in businesses.

We visited Dodee Baidang, an Asian restaurant with a modern twist; instead of humans serving the customers, the food is brought by robots!

Here we have Douglas collecting his food from his robotic waiter. 

It was wonderful to see and experience a business embracing robotics in their business model and gives our students an insight into why this subject is very relevant as they begin to think about their career paths.
