The ARTS celebration!

“The Arts” celebration is almost here. Our SOGS students have been working so hard to complete their work to share with their families and our local community. 

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday November 2nd from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.

Please bring a gold coin for entry. 

We will gather on the Tiger Turf for Mrs D’Amatos official welcome. Entry will be via the office, year 3/4 classrooms  and grade 1 doors. 

A school map of activities will be on display. 

What's ON

For anyone wanting to purchase a gelato or coffee  a gelato van and coffee truck to greet you upon arrival as well as an Italian musician.  We will have scrolls and Italian biscuits for purchase as well from the Community Liasion Team(under the umbrellas near Year 3 classrooms).

Music and Italian performances will take place throughout the evening in grade 5As classrooms and the stage outside the canteen in the passive play area. 

The prep classroom has been transformed into a interactive STEM zone. 

The year 1/2 shared space will have face painting. 

Take part in a community leaf project in the Central Resource Area and play Bocci outdoors for a bit of fun. 

Take photos at the photo board with art completed by our amazing teachers. 

Please bring some money to support our school specialists program and buy a key to win an original Pete Cromer art print. 

The raffle will be drawn at the conclusion of the evening where you could win a keyboard and a terms worth of music lessons provided by Creative Music, a pasta pack, air fryer and STEM building kit. 

This will be an awesome celebration of learning encompassing work from Italian, Music, Visual Arts and STEM.
