Principal's Report

Dear Families,

Wow, what a term!

This term has been jam-packed with lots of fun and engaging activities both in and outside the school. My highlight for this term was the Celebration of the Arts. Seeing the hard work of the staff and students throughout the term and then sharing it with the families and the wider community was amazing. It has been a pleasure to work with the students of BNPS this term and I look forward to continuing into Term 4. I wish everyone a relaxing break and look forward to seeing you all next term.

Walkathon

Thank you to all families that came out to support their child/ren at our Walkathon, either through walking with them or cheering them on as they passed by. All students had a great time and supported one another through the course. With money still coming in, we will have a final total at the start of next term. Thank you everyone for your ongoing support with our fundraising events.

Year 5 camp

Our Year 5 students attended Sovereign Hill last week for an overnight stay and to attend the costume school. All students loved the experience and participated in all aspects of the school days. Students had homework to complete around learning their 17 times tables and were tested the next day.

Planning week

This week our teams have been given the opportunity to meet and plan for Term 4. The teams have planned many exciting learning experiences including excursions and incursions. Please remember when getting notes home for these activities that they are tied to the teaching and learning for the term, and we deem them important to your child/rens learning.

Coming up in Term 4

Term 4 will see another jam-packed term, with our Foundation and Year 5/6 students starting their swimming program, Year 4 and 6 students heading off to camp, Year 5 Leadership Program taking place, and so much more.

Happy Holidays!
