Space dome incursion
Classes that do STEM this semester in Year 1, 3 and 5 attended the Space Dome incursion last week. The dome is 9 metres high so needed to be set up in the gym. Students were transported into outer space once they entered through the tunnel into the immersive space.
Students learnt about earths rotation, gravity and weather as well as the make up of the solar system.
Students who are in Year 1, 3 and 5 who do not participate in STEM this semester will have another opportunity to visit the dome in semester 2.
