Swimming Carnival - 2026

On Thursday, February 12th, our grade 4-6 swimmers ventured out to Fitzroy Pool to compete in the Fitzroy North Primary School swimming carnival.

We had some rain, sum sun and some cloud warm summer’s morning, but this didn’t deter the students who did the school very proud, both in the pool with their results and out of pool with their behaviour and sportsmanship. 

We have many students going on to represent our school at the district event coming up later this month.

A big thanks to Nick and all our grade 3-6 teachers for doing a great job!

Our parent helpers who worked tirelessly at the finish and walked with the kids to and from the pool line- Rochelle, Sally, Simon, Georgia, Andrea, Kat, Nicole, Rhys, Sibly and Lucy.

Also to all the parents who offered to help and to those who came down to support the students at the pool.

Well done to all the students involved, and for many of you good luck at district!
