Overdue books
Scarily, there are only 6 weeks left of borrowing for the school year. Please help your child find any overdue books they might have or if they have been lost, payment for books to be paid at the front office or via QKR. The quicker we can ensure all library books are returned, the less hectic it will be the closer we get to the end of the year.
Please do not hesitate to contact me regarding any issues about books that are overdue. Unless I’m aware of an issue, I’m unable to assist with helping sort it out. Often children can be apprehensive to tell me themselves they can’t find a book, so it’s always best to let your child’s teacher know or to contact me directly.
GOLDFIELDS (Woodend) LIBRARY - Birdie's Tree Books and Puppets
Our local library was generously donated a full set of the Birdie's Tree books and puppets, and as a way to promote this series they are running a colouring competition and holding a special storytime session in November at the Woodend Library.
Attached: link to the Birdie's tree resources, there are some great activities to help build resilience and understanding.
