Principal's Message

Welcome back! 

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Nicole Burden on gaining a permanent Assistant Principal position, commencing Term 1 2025. I am also pleased to announce that Kristy Rich has secured a permanent position as a Classroom Teacher, and Steve O'Brien has been appointed as a permanent Student Support Learning Officer, filling the vacancy left by Cathie Cottrell, also starting in Term 1 2025.

Term 4 is really busy, please ensure you keep reading the newsletter, watching emails and Schoolbytes notifications for upcoming events and information that relates to your children.

The P&C will be holding an information session on Tuesday 22nd October at 6:00pm in the hall to discuss the proposed changes to purchasing the school uniform. Please read the Uniform Shop page in this edition for more information. If you are unable to attend the meeting and would like further information, or address any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us via email on eglinton-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au

Preparations are underway for our Term 4 Kindergarten Transition to School Program and whole school planning for 2025. If you know of any students years K-6 who may be looking at enrolling at Eglinton for 2025 please ask them to contact the school office or complete the online enrolment form below.

School Hats - Please ensure your child/children have a school wide brimmed hat. School hats need to be worn everyday in Terms 4 and 1 when students are outside. School hats are available to purchase through the school office.
