Boarding News

Mrs Kathryn Searle - Head of Boarding

We are already nearing halfway through Term 4 and what an incredibly busy term it has been to date!

This weekend we will be attending our first social for the term at Churchie and will then host Somerville House and BBC next Friday evening for a Halloween themed dinner.

Thank you to our caterers, Chartwells, who spoilt the boarders last night with a special Chuck Chuck Chicken themed dinner including are very own healthy KFC.  They loved it!  Chartwells have valued the feedback provided by our Boarder Food Committee and are enjoying supplying us with special themed dinners to celebrate life in boarding.

Our Year 12 boarders are studying hard for their final exams and plans are currently being finalised for their final dinner in boarding, in-house disco party and farewell celebrations on Thursday 14 November.

With exams looming for Years 7 to 11, our prep time each evening is busy.  We are very fortunate to have Old Collegian tutors who assist our boarders each evening with their schoolwork.  Thank you, Nysha, Rachael, Georgina, Kate, Claudia, Vivian and Erica, and school staff Ms Andrew, Ms Mills and Rev who are constants in our Boarding House supporting us. We appreciate your support.
