House Rugby

On Monday the Year 10 and 11 boys competed in the House Rugby 7’s Tournament hosted by the Engagement Team. The event was held over both breaks and the boys represented their houses whilst versing other house teams. 

The games were fantastic to watch, with consistent sportsmanship demonstrated by the players. Refereed by students, the games were cheered on by many students and teachers excited to see the boys play. Based on the results from the first 2 matches, the two teams were determined to play in the grand final during the second break. During the hotly contested final match between Gillard and Chirnside, the boys fought for bragging rights as the best rugby 7’s team at TSC. Expertly refereed by Anaseini, the grand final had plenty of exciting moments with the crowd cheering in support. Ultimately resulting in a 4-3 win for Gillard!
