(Victorian State Schools Spectacular)

Our VSSS choir has had a long day today at John Cain arena, with the first of 2 full day dress rehearsals with the whole production and orchestra. Another full day of rehearsals is planned for tomorrow, before the BIG production on Saturday 14th September.

Welcome Home Event for Olympians and Paralympians
The Welcome Home event is on the same day as the Victorian State Schools Spectacular.
This free, family-friendly event will be held just outside John Cain Arena at Melbourne Park Oval on Saturday 14 September from 3:30pm—5:30pm.
It is at the discretion of schools to decide if students can watch the Welcome Home event between VSSS shows. School groups must be back inside John Cain Arena before the turnstiles open at 5:00pm.
Your family members attending the matinee can choose to attend after the Spectacular performance. Alternatively, families attending the evening show, may want to attend this Welcome Home event before the performance.
There are alternative areas around the precinct for schools and participating students to conserve energy, seek rest and fresh air between shows, such as Kia Arena.
There may be access changes to usual pedestrian access in the lead-up, during and after the event.
Food trucks will be onsite.
News media will be at this event.
Security will be on site prior to commencement and will be positioned in key areas for crowd management.
Roads in the precinct will not be closed for this event. 
Parents and families of performers, and those attending the Victorian State Schools Spectacular performances are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time for any major disruptions. Public transport is the quickest option.

Ticket Information for VSSS

 

Tickets for the 2024 Victorian State Schools Spectacular are now on sale: 

www.ticketek.com.au/spectacular 

 

Of particular importance is our schools quadrant number and the corresponding ticket sections.

Please remember that over 5000 tickets are sold on the first day, so get in early to get the best seats.

 

Mass Choir Seating Recommendations:

It is suggested that the most suitable view of the respective sections will be from the

following seating sections. These sections should be visible on the Ticketek seating map

when patrons are making an online purchase.

Section 9, 10, 31, 32, 33, 56, 57, 58

 

How long is the performance?

The show is approximately 2hrs 45min (including a 30-minute interval).

 

Do I need a ticket?

You need a ticket to attend. The performance is fully reserved, allocated seating. We

recommend purchasing tickets as soon as possible to choose your seats.

 

How much are tickets?

Adult: $40 Concession: $30 Child (U15): $20

(an additional service fee per transaction applies on all purchases)

There is no ‘pre-sale’, and there is no codeword or special link required.

Ticket prices have not increased in the past 10 years.
