Walk-a-thon Day

Footy Colours Day:

On Friday 20th September, our school will be holding our annual ‘Footy Colours Day’ and Walk-a-thon. Students can wear their ‘team’ colours on the day, and we will have a small parade in the morning to share our AFL team songs and show our colours and team support. Students are asked to provide a gold coin donation to help support the ‘Footy Colours Day’ Fight Cancer Foundation.

Additionally, families will receive a ‘Walk-a-thon’ notice this week, which will also be occurring on Friday 20th. The Walk-a-thon is conducted in all classes, and is an opportunity for students to raise funds for the school whilst having some outdoor exercise! 

PARENT HELPERS ARE NEEDED TO SUPERVISE THE EVENT AND FOR THE SAUSAGE SIZZLE LUNCH! 

The cost of $5.00 includes a sausage in bread and a drink. Please ensure payment is made on Compass by Tuesday 17th September for ordering purposes.

The Walk-a-thon occurs straight after the parade in the morning, with the laps walked around the perimeter of the school.

During Lunchtime, the ‘longest kick’ competition will be held on the oval. There are prizes for the F-2, and 3-6 longest kick winners.
