MUSIC

Congratulations to the string ensemble for their amazing performance at assembly last Friday! Here is the footage!

Happy end of term 5 6 families!

For the first time ever we are offering a family night out as an end of year celebration to SISTER ACT THE MUSICAL Nov 27th 7.30 pm

Hampton Harmonies, Year 5 and 6 are invited to attend with their families. We have an amazing A Reserve ticket price of $65 including adults!!

This is NOT a school excursion and families need to accompany their children to this event and meet me at the theatre. Siblings and past pupils are welcome!

I have only 40 seats left to this amazing musical (I have seen it). The recommended age is 10+ but that is at parent discretion.

Here is the link that closes in a week!

Keep on singing!

LOTE

The Modern Languages Teachers Association Victoria (MLTAV) Project Team held a workshop to for our Year 5 future student leaders as a part of Department of Education's Victorian Challenge and Enrichment Series.

The purpose of this workshop was to empower senior students, particularly those with an interest in Languages, to be leaders and to use their skills to enrich the learning of younger students. In the workshop, host Mr Parker Yang and Ms Isabel Fernandez briefed and equipped our future leaders with basic languages and sets of activities; followed by a group of Year 1 and Year 2 students attending their group activities. Both junior attendees and language leaders reflected and gave feedback of the activities.

All our participants are awarded a Language Leadership Badge to start their leadership journey.

SSV Soccer State Finals

Our Grade 5/6 Boys Soccer team represented the South Metro Region for soccer at the SSV Soccer Finals on Thursday 12th September. It was a tense day with winds blasting across the pitch. The first game was drawn 0-0, with neither team able to bring the ball down. The second game saw the boys settle the game down and finish with a 6-0 victory. Our last game was a scrappy with a devastating late corner to end with a 1-0 loss to Plenty Parklands PS, who went on to win the final. Boys, we are so proud of your achievements and thank you for all your efforts and sportsmanship over the season.

Goodbye and Thanks!

Scott and I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all of the Hampton community for being so welcoming and supportive to us during our time here this year. We really have loved getting to know you all and wish Hampton all the best!
