Year 8 Boys Hockey
Our Year 8 Boys hockey team came second at Division Hockey on 6 September. We were able to easily defeat Blackburn and Koonung but we came up against East Doncaster in the final and they proved too strong with some of the best players in the state.
Flynn M and Hedley W were among Box Hill HS's best players.
Well done to the team!
EMR Athletics
A very sunny Wednesday 9 October saw 13 Box Hill High students compete at Doncaster Athletics Track in EMR Athletics.
Congratulations to Katrina, Charli, Grace, Kate, Celeste, Chris, Will, Claire, Sienna, Moiz, Aarash, Sebastien and Georgia for your fantastic efforts on the day.
Special mentions to the following students for their fantastic results in their events:
- Kate H - 1st U20 girls 800m, 3rd U20 girls triple jump & 1st U 20 girls 1500m
- Will L - 3rd U16 boys 1500m
- Sienna M - 2nd U13 girls 1500m & 2nd U13 girls 800m
- Katrina C - 3rd U16 girls 100m.
Kate has qualified to compete in State Athletics on Monday 21 October at Albert Lake Park. Good luck Kate!
