Goodbye Maridia
It is with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to Maridia at the end of this term (well apart from the two November Curriculum days we have locked her in for). Maridia has been a cherished part of our OSHC team for the past six years. Known for her warmth, care, and dedication, Maridia has brought joy and enthusiasm to our program, often engaging the children in lively games of Monopoly Deal and creating countless memorable moments.
As she transitions to focus more on Casual Relief Teaching, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for her unwavering commitment and the positive impact she has made on our community. We wish her all the best in her new endeavour's and will miss her dearly. Thank you, Maridia, for everything!
Not Hat, No Play
We'd like to remind you that, as part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students and in line with our SunSmart policy students are required to wear a wide-brimmed hat whilst playing outside at OSHC between 1 September and end of April. This policy helps protect our children from harmful sun exposure. Students without a hat will be directed to play in designated shaded areas or indoors. We appreciate your support in ensuring that your child is equipped with a suitable hat each day.
End of Term 3 Arrangements
Just a reminder that next Friday, September 20, we will open at 2:30 p.m. to align with the early school dismissal. OSHC will close at our regular time of 6:00 p.m. If Friday is your child’s usual day with us, they will be automatically booked for after-school care. If you do not need care on that day, please email Kelly by Friday, September 13, to avoid being charged for the session. Failure to cancel by this date will result in the session fee being charged.
