Resurfacing of the town oval
Planned resurfacing of the oval road from the Swamp Road entrance through the park to the Show Hall corner will be carried out during the morning of Monday 30 September. This is phase one of the oval road resurfacing project. All traffic entering from Swamp Road will flow in a clockwise direction the long way around the oval to the school and kindergarten (via the town end of the oval). Exit will be up past the tennis courts out on to Greenhill Road as usual). Please take extra care as there will be vehicles travelling in both directions as they come and go from the drop off area. Below is a photo plan of the detour.

Nature Festival | Jade Brook Aboriginal Workshops
Have you heard the news?
Muddy Hands Festival is returning these school holidays. Say goodbye to clean clothes and hello to a day of messy, outdoor, nature play fun. There'll be wash stations (yes, you'll need them!), food trucks, a calming space for sensory breaks, and plenty of activities away from the mud action for those not so keen on getting grubby.
The best part? The City of Tea Tree Gully is bringing this event to you FREE! No tickets needed, just roll on up (we suggest with towels and a change of clothes!).
When: Friday 4 October, 10am to 3pm Where: Golden Fields Reserve, Golden Grove
Our waterproof onesies will be available to purchase on the day.
History book for sale
Have you seen the Uraidla book written by local historian Geoffrey Bishop on behalf of the East Torrens Historical Society? It tells the story of the Uraidla township, from the beginning to current day and is a fascinating read!
