Think U Know Cybersafety Parent Session
Hazel Glen College will be hosting a ThinkUKnow Cybersafety Parent Session on Monday 15th June 2026, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM in the Performing Arts Centre (PAC).
All parents and carers from Prep to Year 12 are strongly encouraged to attend. This is an important opportunity to build our collective understanding of how to keep young people safe online, and we value the support of our College community in prioritising this event.
ThinkUKnow Australia is an evidence-based education program delivered nationally to prevent online child sexual exploitation, in partnership with the Australian Federal Police.
The session will be presented by a local law enforcement member. It will address critical topics including self-generated child abuse material, online grooming, and sexual extortion, while also promoting practical strategies and help-seeking behaviours.
Please note that this program is supported by volunteers and external partners who give their time to educate our community. Your attendance demonstrates support for this work. We strongly encourage families to take advantage of this valuable opportunity to better understand the online environment and how to support children and young people to be safe and responsible users of technology.

Primary Years Camping Program Year 3 to 6
Students in Years 3–6 gain enormous value from attending school camp, as it provides a unique opportunity to build independence, resilience and confidence in a supportive environment. Away from their usual routines, students learn to take responsibility for themselves, work collaboratively with peers and step outside their comfort zones. Camp also strengthens friendships and fosters new social connections, helping to create a stronger sense of belonging within the cohort. Importantly, camp deepens teacher–student relationships and supports personal growth at a key developmental stage, making it a powerful and memorable part of the primary school journey.
The following camps will take place in Term 3. Please look out for the Compass event for more details, including the cost of the camp
- Year 3 Urban Camp in Parkville - Thursday 3rd to Friday 4th September (Week 8)
- Year 4 Lady Northcote camp in Glenmore (near Bacchus Marsh) - Monday 10th to Wednesday 12th August (Week 5)
- Year 5 Sovereign Hill camp in Ballarat - Thursday 20th to Friday 21st August (Week 6)
