Principal Report

Remembrance Day 2025

Tuesday 11 November 2025 is Remembrance Day – a day for us to remember those who have served, suffered or died in all wars and peacekeeping operations. The annual observance also acknowledges the service of Australian Defence Force members on active deployment.

Remembrance Day marks the date in 1918 when World War I came to an end. It is officially observed at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

To mark Remembrance Day, we will pause at 11 am on Tuesday 11 November 2025 for a minute’s silence, to remember people's service and sacrifice.

We want to hear from you!!

Our school is undergoing a four-year review, and the panel would like to get feedback from parents. Please come to talk to the panel reviewing our school next Tuesday 11th November at 2.30pm in the Function Room. School staff will not be present.

We can also organise interpreters as we want to hear views from all sectors of our parent community.

If you require child supervision after 3.30pm or interpreters – or both! - please let the office know by Friday 7th November.

If you would like to have your say, but cannot attend on this date, please let me know what is convenient for you and we can organise an opportunity to have your say at an online forum. If you have any questions, or would like an alternative time, please don’t hesitate to contact me in the yard or at Jane.Capon@education.vic.gov.au
