Junior School

QCE Awards
On Monday, the Junior School were acknowledged at the Catholic Education QCE Awards. These awards recognise programs and initiatives in Catholic schools across Western Australia that support the vision of providing Christ-centered, student-focused engaged learning environments. At the awards morning, we received two awards. The first award was First Place in the People's Choice Category. The second acknowledgement was a Certificate of Merit for the Catholic Identity category.
The submission and project, led with passion and inspiration by Mrs. Amanda Saraceni, was inspired by Brother Olly Pickett AM and his mission to build and donate wheelchairs to children in need. Our Year 4 students led a whole school pull tab collection to support Wheelchairs for Kids. Through the Trinity College Environmental Committee, students designed collection boxes, raised awareness at school events, and extended the initiative into their homes and communities. A visit to the Malaga factory and stories of children whose lives had been transformed moved students deeply, igniting empathy and gratitude. This powerful student-led initiative reflects our Catholic mission, fosters the spirit of Men for Others, and demonstrates how small actions can change lives.
Congratulations to all involved in this wonderful initiative.
God Bless,
Mr James McPherson

Junior School Presentation Night - Save The Date
Friday, 28 November
A reminder to please save the date for the Junior School Presentation Night, which will take place on Friday, 28 November in Gibney Hall. This special event is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate the achievements and growth of our students over the course of the year.
Please note that attendance is expected for all Junior School boys. The evening will begin at 6:00 PM, and students are required to wear their Summer Uniform.
As a reminder, Junior School students will finish at 12.40pm on this day to allow for preparation. Further details, including ticketing information, will be shared closer to the date.
Year 6 Physical Education
Over the next three weeks, our Year 6 students will be completing a unit of Rowing during their Physical Education lessons. This unique experience will allow boys to try a new skill and potentially spark an interest in Rowing prior to Year 7. Thank you to Mr Thompson and Mr Jurjevich for providing the boys with this opportunity.
Junior School Communication Survey
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the Junior School experience for students, staff, and families, we are currently reviewing our communication practices between class teachers and parents, looking towards 2026 and beyond. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us understand what’s working well and where we can improve. By working together, we aim to build even stronger connections and ensure our communication supports every child’s learning journey.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
