It's hard to believe we're approaching the end of the term for our Year 11s.  

Term Round-Up so Far

I was able to accompany some of our students who participated with great spirit and respect in this year’s Walk for Reconciliation. We had valuable discussions about the importance of unity, understanding, and a shared commitment to a better future.

A huge congratulations to our Year 12 students on their Graduation — what a milestone! It was wonderful to meet and speak with family members during the shared lunch and to hear how busy the students have been since leaving school. I wish them all the very best as they continue to explore the opportunities this next chapter has in store for them.  

It was wonderful to see the success of the residential student Halloween Party, planned primarily by our Year 11 student leaders. The kitchen staff went above and beyond, and all enjoyed a fantastic night. What a great group of school leaders we have for next year.

Enjoying afternoon recess outdoors has been a welcome addition this term on the days I’m at the College. It’s been wonderful to see students interacting in the sunshine while listening to music on our new speaker. 

Yesterday, ten students enjoyed swimming laps and competing in a few friendly competitions after school yesterday at the Harvey Swimming Pool.  A shout out to Boston Walker and Zac Platell, who won the relay, and Tom Ward, who managed to swim laps for the entire 45 minutes.  

As we look ahead to the festive season, we are once again running our School Christmas Gift Drive to support local children, and we invite all families to contribute. The gifts will be sorted and wrapped by Year 10 students and delivered by a selected group to local primary schools. Donations can be dropped off at the front office over the coming weeks. Gift suggestions are provided below.
