Sewing Club

Students in Year 5 and 6 have been fine tuning their hand sewing skills this term on Thursdays at lunch. 

The students have selected the fabric they want to use to make their plush rabbit, traced the pattern and cut and pinned the fabric sections together. Currently. Students are learning the challenge of threading thread through the eye of the needle, demonstrating great resilience. Soon, students will turn the sections inside out and use stuffing to make the rabbit three dimensional. After this step, they can sew the ears, and tail to the body.
