Not Long to Go....
With approximately 24 school days left before the end of the school year, it is becoming a time to reflect on the wonderful year we have all had at Sacred Heart. From Mark's retirement and all the celebrations that went with it, to Antoniette's appointment just last week or so, and the whole school performance in between, it has been a busy, at times hectic, year. As we slide on the ice for the next month or so, may we remind ourselves of the work still to be done and for the preparation of waiting for the birth of Christ, Advent.
Premier's Reading Challenge ~ What a Success!!
A massive shout out and a hearty congratulations must go to our two resident bookworms ~ Rosetta and Ann ~ for making this year's PRC such a great success. Nearly 50 students accepted the challenge to read a certain number of books (depending on their age) and completed the challenge with great aplomb. Reading is such a wonderful pastime and a necessary part of any child's education. Congratulations to all students who received their certificate at today's special assembly, organised by Ann. A GREAT ACHIEVEMENT!
