Performing Arts  

We’ve had a wonderfully creative few weeks in Performing Arts! Students enjoyed Halloween-themed lessons, composing and writing songs inspired by The Purple People Eater. This also included designing their own monster to inspire them. 

Our junior students will now continue their exploration of all things pirate, getting into character and performing short plays in groups, about hidden treasure. 

Our senior students have been taking inspiration from the famous comedy duo 'The Listies', using their humour and timing as guidance to refine their death in a minute scene. They’ve been focusing on adding tension, contrast and expression to make their performances even more engaging. 

CHOIR REHEARSALS

If your child is in the school choir, we have rehearsals on Wednesdays at lunchtime and Fridays after lunch when there is no assembly. Students are rehearsing to sing at Presentation Evening and we hope to have a performance ready for Assembly in a couple of weeks.
