Our Term 2 Respectful Relationships Topics are Emotional Literacy and Help Seeking 

 

In our unit on Emotional Literacy, students will:

  • Build their understanding of their own emotions and situations that may evoke these emotions.
  • Build on their capacity to recognise emotions in others through verbal and non-verbal cues.

 

In our unit on Help Seeking, students will:

  • Build their skills to solve simple problems and recognise where to seek assistance from peers or adults.
  • Develop an understanding of why it is important not to allow problems to become too big before seeking help.
  • Identifying ways to help others solve problems.

Visible Wellbeing

 

This term, our Visible Wellbeing focus is Habits & Goals. This will involve students attaining a great awareness of good habits and how to break cycles of bad habits. Students will learn how good habits can allow us to work towards our goals, and that goals can provide us with a sense of purpose and motivation to succeed.
