Living Well Learning Well Award
Congratulations to Lucy in 5Q for consistently displaying our Living Well, Learning Well rules for living by being a safe, respectful learner in everyday interactions at St Edward’s School.
What's been happening across our Year 5 space this week!
5Q have been building their research skills through note taking and summarising information in their own words. They applied these skills to write information reports on an endangered animal, exploring human impact and conservation efforts.
Using concrete materials, 5M are enjoying their learning during maths as they convert the units of measurement from metres to kilometres.
Meanwhile 5T were putting their maths skills into action with Google Earth to calculate real life distances between familiar locations and measured the distances in kms.
