Adelaide Symphony Orchestra Visit 

Our school recently had the pleasure of hosting the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra’s Incursion Team for an exciting whole-school performance. Their presentation, The Bush Concert, introduced students to orchestral music in an entertaining and accessible way. Throughout the performance, the musicians highlighted a selection of instruments, demonstrating the different sounds they can create. This enriching experience gave students the opportunity to see and hear live music right in front of them. We are grateful to the ASO for sharing their talent and creating such an enjoyable and memorable event for our school community. 

Term 2 Music Lessons 

This term, students have explored music from a variety of cultures around the world, including Scottish, Brazilian, Japanese, Irish, Greek, African and Mexican traditions. They used instruments such as drums, tambourines, and shakers toexplore rhythms inspired by these cultures. Students also took part in dances and movement activities, helping them connect with the music in a fun and active way. It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm as they develop an appreciation for music from around the world.
