Please take the time to read the permission note carefully, as it contains all the important details about the event. We look forward to seeing many of you there.
Age groups - School Sport Victoria (SSV) stipulates that ages are determined as of 31 December for all individual events. If your child chooses to compete in an age group below their date-of-birth designated category, they must understand that they will not be eligible for ribbons, medals, or progression to subsequent competitions. This policy ensures fairness.

State Cross Country
Today we had 10 students competing at the State Cross Country Championship in Melbourne. The track was wet, muddy and pretty heavy underfoot! But our wonderful students got out there and gave their very best!
Our students continue to give us so many reasons to be proud. Since beginning this journey back in April, they have embraced every challenge with incredible commitment, enthusiasm and a genuine willingness to learn. Their buy-in to the process has been outstanding, and the growth we've witnessed extends far beyond performance alone.
Along the way, they've learnt valuable lessons about persistence, resilience, supporting one another, and celebrating each other's successes. The way they encourage their peers and take joy in others' achievements is something truly special.
We are also incredibly grateful for the guidance and support of Sarah Willis and Paul Rance. Their expertise, encouragement, and generosity have played an important role in shaping this journey and the learning experiences our students have enjoyed. It may sound familiar, but it's worth saying again: our students are truly special, and we couldn't be prouder of the young people they continue to become.
A special mention to our outstanding Cross Country Captains, Lotti Childs and Quade Baker, who have led by example throughout the season. Their leadership, encouragement, and unwavering support of their teammates have helped foster a positive and inclusive team culture. They have represented our school with pride and have been wonderful role models, consistently inspiring those around them through their enthusiasm, commitment, and care for others.

In massive fields of up to 90 students per race, these results are terrific! But it was never just about the result. The learnings and experiences gained along the way are what matter most. Every one of these students represented our school with courage, determination and humility. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved.
