Cairns Eisteddfod Literary Awards

St Stephen's Students Shine at the Literary Awards
On Tuesday 16th June, St Stephen's Catholic College celebrated an outstanding evening at the Cairns Eisteddfod Literary Awards. This year, St Stephen’s submitted more than 70 entries from 36 students, showcasing the creativity, talent, and dedication of our young writers. We are incredibly proud that 20 of these entries received placings or Highly Commended awards, demonstrating the high calibre of writing being produced by our students. Before announcing all the results, I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to our Writing Coordinators, Miss Emma Ledlin and Miss Angelique Breakspear, whose hardwork in coordinating student submissions and encouraging participation helped make these achievements possible.
