2026 Secondary School Surf  League

Surf Life Saving Queensland – North Queensland Branch is excited to be delivering the 2026 Secondary School Surf League at Yorkeys Knob Beach on Friday 31 July 2026.

The Secondary School Surf League is an engaging interschool event that combines beach athletics, surf lifesaving skills, and beach safety education in a fun and inclusive team environment. The carnival is designed to cater for a wide range of student abilities and encourages participation, teamwork, confidence, and community engagement.

Event highlights include:

• Beach Sprints & Relays
• Beach Flags
• 1km Beach Run
• Wade Relay
• Board Relay / Surf Swim (conditions permitting)
• Lifesaving Skills Challenge Station
