Murray's Australian Defence Force Army Familiarisation Program
Congratulations to Year 10 student, Murray B, who recently took part in the Australian Defence Force Army Familiarisation Program at Singleton Army Barracks.
Throughout the program, Murray gained a valuable insight into Army life by participating in a range of practical activities, including using night vision goggles, completing an over-water obstacle course, and learning about Army equipment.
He also visited the Army Museum, where he explored Australia's military history through displays of uniforms, vehicles, and equipment used across different conflicts.
The program provided a unique opportunity to develop an understanding of teamwork, discipline, leadership, and the day-to-day role of Australian Army personnel. It was an engaging and memorable experience that gave Murray a greater appreciation of the diverse career opportunities available within the Australian Defence Force.
Well done, Murray, on embracing this fantastic opportunity!
