Tuesday on Flinders Concert

The weekly, 'Tuesday on Flinders' Concerts are a wonderful opportunity for our students to perform and shine! 

Set in the stunning Flinders Street Baptist Church, our Emmaus Chamber Ensemble, directed by Samantha Penny, played a varied and entertaining set including: 

• 'Sunset Suspended', Brian Balmages
• 'Gloria', Antonio Vivaldi
• 'Cranes', Stephen Chin
• 'Birds of a Feather ', Billie Eilish
• 'Back In Black', ACDC 
• 'Under The Bridge',  Chilli Peppers

Year 4 student, Leon, provided the audience with a treat playing his Violin and accompanied by Samantha Penny. He performed

• Allegro - 1st Movement Concerto for 2 Violins In D Minor - JS Bach. 

The Emmaus Vocal Ensemble (EVE), directed by Laura Worley was a lovely way to finish the concert with their set of three beautiful arrangements

• 'Ours' - Christina Guala-Goodwin & David Goodwin arr: David Goodwin
• 'Angels' - Emma Nissen arr: Laura Worley
• 'Rescue' - Lauren Daigle arr: Jason Ingram & Paul Mabury. 

Once again, our students excelled and enjoyed the experience of having another opportunity to perform in public. 

Congratulations also to each and every student for their 'attitude of gratitude' towards staff and each other.
