Friendology Workshops
Today, Director of URSTRONG, Tyson Greenwood taught the Foundation to Year 6 students how to be kinder and stronger friends together with our Brooklyn Park friends.
Four important friendship facts.
- No friendship (relationship) is perfect
- Every friendship is different
- Trust and respect are the two most important qualities in a friendship.
- Friendships change, and that's ok
Thank you URSTRONG for teaching the student valuable tips to be kinder and stronger friends.
Year 3/4 are discovering how God's word teaches them to know, trust and live for Him.
Students have explored the importance of listening to and obeying God's Word through the story of Samuel.
They have also begun learning about the rise and fall of King Saul, discovering that God's ways are always the best ways and that He desires our faith and obedience rather than simply our actions.
Students will continue following the lives of God's people as they explore how God faithfully keeps His promises.
- David and Goliath - God keeps His promises through David and we can trust Him in every situation.
- David's repentance after his sin - God graciously forgives those who turn to Him.
- Elisha and Naaman - God is worthy of our worship
- Nehemiah - they will learn the importance of gathering together to hear and obey God's Word in the story of the rebuilding of Jerusalem
It is a joy to see students thoughtfully engage with these Bible stories, ask meaningful questions, and deepen their understanding of God's faithfulness, grace, and love.
