Alumni Events

WS 10-Year Alumni Reunion (Class of 2015)

What a great night this was! After having their 5-year reunion cancelled due to COVID-19, it was so wonderful to finally have this cohort back. Almost 40 alumni and plus ones were in attendance, with some extras present in spirit/photos. After dinner, games, a campus tour of all the new student areas, and dessert, Luke Phillips (WS 2015) came in clutch with their Year 12 video, which coincidentally was a prediction about what would happen at their 10-year reunion. Fortunately (or unfortunately?), it was not quite accurate, as no Australian Prime Ministers were present.

We wrapped up the night with an encouragement from Joel Chapman, that even though the College and our lives change over time, God stays the same, and is always keen for a check-in with us. Photos, chatting, and that enjoyable sensation of communal nostalgia continued late into the evening.

WS 1-Year Alumni Reunion (Class of 2024)

We had a more intimate gathering, as many from this cohort were still deep in exams or overseas travelling, but that did not stop us from having a relaxed and fun time together. We kicked off the night with an opening welcome from David Lepileo and Andrew Bawden. After dinner, we walked down memory lane by rewatching their Year 12 video, then we competed to find out who remembered the most from your final year here.

Nick Glen wrapped things up with a heartwarming and encouraging speech, reminding us to hold on to all the good memories as they propel us on bright, shining futures ahead. We then prayed for the cohort and ended the night by sending everyone off with some sweet treats to a nearby after-party, where the 1-on-1 catchups and conversations lasted long into the night.

For everyone who was able to make it—thank you for spending the time together with us. And to those who couldn't make it, know that you are missed and prayed for, and we look forward to having you all back for your 5-year reunion in 2029!
