Curriculum News

Our teachers have been busy preparing to implement the Science learning area from Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum. During staff meetings, teachers are taking part in professional development sessions to explore the new curriculum and plan engaging lessons that spark curiosity and wonder in our students. It’s an exciting time as we look forward to bringing fresh ideas and hands-on learning opportunities into our classrooms.

In English, students are diving into the narrative writing genre this term. They’ve been learning about what makes a great story—interesting characters, exciting plots, and creative language that keeps the reader hooked! Classrooms are buzzing with imagination as students plan, draft, and share their stories. It’s been wonderful to see their enthusiasm and creativity shine as they work to entertain and engage their audiences.
