From the Deputy Principal

Welcome to Term Four, and I hope that our students have returned refreshed and ready to immerse themselves in the challenges and celebrations ahead. I would like to extend a special welcome to our new students and their families. You have joined much more than a school; you have joined a wonderful community and we look forward to sharing this journey with you.
Some say that good schools are created and sustained by 10,000 meaningful interactions every day.
After all, we are a social ecosystem that nurtures human connection and shapes belonging. The sharing of our individual and collective stories in our interactions sits at the heart of our values and purpose.
Every single interaction we have in our community matters. It builds and strengthens our village and exemplifies what it means to ‘love thy neighbour.’
At GSG we pledge to lead by courage, compassion, respect and integrity, to be intentional about our interactions to make them meaningful in order to build and strengthen our school. We strive for all our key stakeholders —our students, our parents, and our staff — to cultivate positive interactions that serve to strengthen our community.
May we continue to cultivate 10,000 meaningful interactions each day so that we may love and respect our neighbours and nurture our community.
