Hi everybody,

Welcome back to school for Term 4!

We hope that you all enjoyed a restful break and ready to finish our school year on a positive high.

Key reminders include the following:

Canine Comprehension

This week, our Term 4 Animal Assistance program called 'Canine Comprehension' is back underway for the next 8 weeks. This program is intended to support students to develop their social skills and problem solving skills. In its 3rd year at JSA, it is a much loved program.

If your child is involved in this program this term, a permission slip would have been sent home for you to complete and return to us.

Term 4 SSGs

Our Student Support Groups (or SSGs) are the most important formal meeting for our teachers to work with you to plan supports and direction for your child's learning and wellbeing each term.

This term, our SSG meetings are held:

Week 6: Monday 10th November - Thursday 13th November

Week 7: Monday 17th November - Thursday 20th November

Week 8: Monday 24th November - Thursday 27th November

Letters will be sent out shortly, including how to book ONLINE through the XUNO app - instructions will be provided in the letter.

Semester 2 Reports

At the moment, your child's teachers are busy assessing your child's progress against their IEP goals. Your child's Semester 2 Report is due for distribution on XUNO or in hard copy (by request only) by Friday 5th December.
