Term 1 Recycling Focus – Old, Damaged Shoes

During term one, we are collecting both children's and adults' damaged shoes to be recycled. The collection basket will be outside the main school office until the end of term.

If you have shoes in good condition, most second-hand shops would love them. If the shoes have reached the end of their lifespan, we’d love to collect them and have them recycled. We all know how quickly children go through shoes, so recycling is a great way to keep some of the materials in circulation for a bit longer.

The shoes will be taken to a participating Tread Lightly Store at the end of the term.

It's becoming easier and easier to find a drop off location for shoe recycling, which is great. If you are interested, you can search the nearest location here.

Please read the instructions below carefully as there are restrictions on what can be donated.
