SLA 

Throughout this term, SLA been focusing on Personal Narratives in writing. Students have analysed different immigration stories from individuals across the globe who have moved to Australia. Using these skills, they are now embarking on crafting their own Personal Narratives centered around individuals who have immigrated to Australia. By interviewing someone with personal immigration experience, students are gathering valuable insights to kickstart their own narrative.  These narratives will be presented next term, showcased within our very own Human Museum. 

Throughout this term, SLA have been further developing their skills in place value. We have been calculating big numbers by 10s, 100s and 1000s, practicing renaming and expanding numbers. Utilizing MAB Blocks, they have engaged in hands-on activities to reinforce these concepts. Ask some of the students what fun games they have been playing to further practice these skills to also play at home.
