Dear Parents/Guardians
Yesterday we celebrated St. Joseph’s Feast Day in style. Thanks to Trish Shaw and Peter Humphreys for organising the Mass and music. We also thank Father Tony for leading us in this celebration. Despite some rain, we all had a great time at Apex Park.
I write this newsletter as we are on our way to camp. A smooth send-off this morning with very organised students! Keep an eye on Facebook for some photos over the next few days.
New Director
Last Friday it was a pleasure to welcome our new director of Catholic Education Sandhurst Ltd Kate Fogarty, to visit our school.
She was very interested in our community and the direction we are taking in our school.
Kitchen Garden
Maria and our senior students worked hard yesterday filling some new pots, ready for planting. Well done to Tex and Maurice for making these pots!
Maria is putting the call out for:
Renovation Update
Following fences going up and an office being set up by the builders, over the next week or so works will begin. They will begin working on our guttering and drainage project, before tackling the renovation. Exciting times!
Golden Horseshoe Food Stall and Parade
Thanks to those families who have indicated interest in the parade. I look forward to another exciting entry.
Thank you also to those who have already signed up to help out with the Food Stall. We are looking for some more volunteers for those who may be around. An hour or two of your time will make a difference.
This is our major fundraiser for the year and a great opportunity to raise some significant money. Funds will be targeted towards repurposing the chook shed and further landscaping around the playground and sandpit areas.
Please see the link for the sign-up sheet.
A call-out for a couple of webbers and a generator, please
