Junior School

I cannot believe that I am saying welcome back and we are almost through our first term. We hit the ground running as we established those back-to-school routines.

A huge thank you to those families who attended information sessions across the Junior School; some had back-to-back evenings away from their families, at a busy time. We have survived 'the great storm', and I acknowledge the support of ELC families as this threw all parties into a small moment of chaos, impacting families on many levels.

Your understanding was appreciated, and I take this moment to thank the staff for their understanding and action in ensuring all students were safe, always our first priority. My role allows me a lens across the whole school, not only our Junior School space. I am always reminded of how we come together as one, and this was on display as we attended whole school welcome back assemblies and our whole school Blessing.

Oakleigh Grammar is many things, but at its core and essence is a school community that makes us feel part of something unique. Our roots and 40-year history lead us to strive for greatness. 2024 presents to be the year of greatness!
