Years F & 1

This week we have been learning to understand what a noun is. Students have become familiar with the term and have been listing a range of different ones. On whiteboards, they had to write down animals from the story and where they were as these are both nouns. Students then worked on putting these into sentences adding further information by saying what the animal is doing. They put some great detail into their work. 

In science this week the students experimented with different ways to move a toy car. They had great ideas like using their breath, creating ramps, and using different materials to push or pull the car. They were quite creative and had some great success.
