Leadership Speeches

On Tuesday students from year 4, year 5 and Secondary stood up in front of their peers and MDHS staff to present themselves as potential School Leaders for 2024. It is a great experience for our future leaders to have this opportunity to develop their public speaking skills for any future endeavours. Students from year 2 through to Secondary then had the opportunity to vote for their preferred candidate.

MacBook & Charger Return

SECONDARY FAMILIES

If your child has borrowed a school MacBook and charger from school, can these please be returned to the front office to be checked in. Every MacBook allowed home with a student had a working charger issued to them. This will also need to be returned. The MacBook charger should look like the one attached. If this is not returned you will be issued an invoice for a replacement one. I would like all MacBooks and chargers returned Monday 20th November to the front office. Once returned and checked, students will still be able to use their MacBook in their classrooms (as long as there is no outstanding invoice for a charger).

Chess Club and Klikko

We are very grateful to Mrs Clune for opening the Library at lunchtimes and Mr Alberti and Mr Galic for passing on their Chess playing prowess to students.  We have had quite a few students come and enjoy some games of chess along with others making some fabulous creations from Klikko.
