Dear Parents/Carers

We are passed the halfway point of Term 4, what a whirlwind it has been!

Last week, I had the privilege of attending a camp at Wilson's Prom with some of our secondary students, and I must say, they conducted themselves impeccably.  It was such a joy to see our students interacting with those from other schools and learning from each other.  The experience was truly enriching, and I am so proud of our students for representing our school so well.

As you can see in the photos below, we all threw ourselves into the many activities that were on offer.

Class Groupings

It is that time of year again when the Leadership Team and PCT work very hard on the 2024 class lists.  As part of this process, we look at the needs of every student in the school both academically and socially to better direct our decision making regarding correct groupings.

We always try to incorporate the students’ opinions to help us with student allocation and have asked your young people to identify three other students they work well with and one student they work less well with.

As I am sure you will appreciate, particularly with the increased growth of the school, we cannot respond to parent specific requests for teachers or teaching staff, but it is our expectation that all teams will be providing a high level of individualised support for each student.

Student Pick up and Drop off

Increased Police Presence – Coburns Road & Slip Lane

Please remember not to line up and double park outside Gate 1.

We understand that at times this is frustrating and you may have to do a loop – this is why we ask that parents and carers do not arrive before 8.55 a.m.

Police have been present, and parents have been fined for double parking.  If you miss the school bus please drop your child off through the loop in Gate 1 after 9.00 a.m.

Please can you also ensure that your children are correctly secured in their booster seats or with a seatbelt as we have observed cars being stopped.

Kind regards

Brooke
